In June 2015, Kanye West and adidas released the Yeezy Boost 350, the low-top lifestyle shoe marked by the patterned knit upper and a Boost-cushioned sole. Launching in the “Turtle Dove” colorway, the Yeezy Boost 350 overtook the pole position in popular sneakers, while the follow-up drops in the Pirate Black and Moonrock had its competitors paling in comparison.
