Tree-Lined Tongue Labels Appear On The Nike Air Force 1 Ultra

The foundation of Nike’s Next Nature movement finds its purpose in creating footwear with environmentally preferred materials. Everything from the soles to the laces makes use of recycled content, lightning its imprint in an ever saturated world of consumer products. One of the upcoming releases of Nike’s Next Nature footwear is the Air Force 1 Ultra, a shoe that captures the spirit of the ’82 classic with subtle touches for the modern world.

This clean white, grey, and blue colorway features leathers, suedes, and meshes made of recycled material, with a special tongue label featuring the tree-lines of the Pacific Northwest — a direct connection with nature. These aren’t a standard pair of AF1s, but rather the Ultra kind in which the sole is updated with lighter foams and an altered traction panel.

This Air Force 1 Ultra is among several different Next Nature in-line releases headed to Nike.com soon, so check out the photos and we’ll update you when these become available.
