Earlier this January, Sneaker Room’s Suraj Kaufman and Kyrie Irving continued the sneaker legacies of their late mothers with the latest chapter of their collaborative partnership. The two formed a bond over their shared experience of losing their mothers, expressing that mutual connection through decorative footwear on Kyrie Irving’s signature shoes. While the footwear is typically exclusive to Sneaker Room, recent emergence of Nike official images give us hope that a wider release could come soon.
Even if there is no drop planned, we’re treated to an in-depth gallery of all the hidden details that made the Kyrie 7 arguably their best to date. Dubbed the “Fire & Water“, this Kyrie 7 design explains the kindred nature of the elements and Mother Nature. The left shoe is primarily that of a magma red, whilst the right shoe opposes with a cooling blue. The second “Air & Earth” pair sees a similar composition, but you can see them exist here via the green and orange clay tongues.
There’s a plethora of detailing and accents that are unmatched by another other Kyrie 7 release. Those four elements appear via embossed logos at the forefoot prongs, while a “MOM” logo appears on the left tongue drawn in a similar manner to the Kyrie shield logo.
Again, a release is not confirmed nor are we suggesting might occur, but hopefully we’ll be pleasantly surprised. We’re already months into the Kyrie Infinity release cycle, but seeing how the Kyrie 7 “Alternate Weatherman” released not long ago, there’s still hope for release. See the official images ahead.
