The Nike Waffle One Crater Appears In “Anthracite”

The Nike Waffle One Crater Appears In “Anthracite”

Since its introduction in early 2021, the Nike Waffle One has been delivering countless consumers something stylish and rooted in heritage without breaking the bank. Most recently, the low-top silhouette emerged in an “Anthracite” proposition complete with recycled Crater Foam cushioning.

While not the first time the vintage Nike Running-inspired design appears with a dark outfit, the shades of black that take over much of the pair’s upper hadn’t appeared with the Swoosh’s up-cycled tooling. As part of the “Move to Zero” initiative, the latest offering boasts non-virgin materials across its textile and fabric upper, as well as across the foam and rubber sole unit underfoot. A faint pattern lands on the plastic heel clip, but the surrounding components mostly opt for a pitch-dark ensemble.

A Nike.com release date hasn’t been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change in the coming weeks. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.

In related sneaker news, the Nike Basketball “Everlasting Love” collection has been unveiled for Valentine’s Day.
