Ishod Wair’s Nike SB Signature Shoe Revealed In Two Colorways

Earlier this month, Nike SB team rider and pro skater Ishod Wair filled the world in on a secret – his first signature shoe. Aptly named the Nike SB Ishod, this skate shoe carries a bit of old-school DNA made evident by the appearance of the toe-box, which is a clear nod to the Air Jordan 1. There’s plenty of modern design touches and materials, seen on the sporty reverse Swoosh logo at the heel, the vented frame at the mid-foot panel, and the protective foxing to diminish wear and tear on a key zone on skate footwear. React Foam serves as the primary cushioning, while the rubber traction pattern is crafted to fit the multi-directional grip required for the sport.

Two colorways are revealed today via official images: one in black/grey, and another in a fall-friendly “Wheat” make-up. While a release date has not yet been revealed, the emergence of such images as well as Ishod himself teasing the shoes suggest a release sooner than later.
