From blood-splatter to specters, spooky detailing has appeared on handfuls of styles from Nike and Vans, among other brands. Masked slashers from the “big screen” have also appeared on some iconic shoes, which are available now via the eBay Authenticity Guarantee program. No more resorting to tricks to both secure a sneaker and verify its authenticity. And with no seller fees on select listings above $100, eBay has more than one treat up its sleeve.
Without further ado, continue ahead for nine Halloween-inspired sneakers, all available on eBay.
Jason Voorhees has been terrorizing the visitors of Camp Crystal Lake since 1980. Since then, he’s become one of the most iconic figures in horror film history, an achievement Warner Bros. and Vans immortalized on a recent Slip-On collaboration. Part of a larger “Horror” Collection, the laceless shoe features the slasher’s signature hockey mask on one shoe, while the other nods to the “Friday the 13th” series franchise that began 41 years ago. Red, black and white “paint” splatter takes over most of the pair, which also includes imagery of the site haunted by J. Voorhees (printed on the midsole). Lastly, “13” numerology is stamped at the heel, while Vans’ standard license plate gets drowned in a pool of red.
Most often associated with Bo Jackson, the Nike Air Trainer 3 took a trip to Transylvania in October 2020 to borrow Dracula’s iconic wardrobe. High-quality black suede lays atop white perforated leather, components accompanied by purple and red accents across the upper. Vampire and fang graphics take over the sock-liner and tongue label, respectively, while the midsole features blood splatter brought about from the count’s nocturnal activities.
Continuing Nike SB’s playful Halloween tradition, the ’Night of Mischief’ Dunk Low from 2019 combines the color palette of past styles with new graphics. Premium black suede pairs with orange tumbled leather to deliver a treat of a combination. Spider and web imagery join the mix via embroidery on the heel and mid-foot, with the former also donning “TRICK” and “TREAT” text stylized as slime. Other spooky details on the pair include ghost graphics behind the tongue labels, jack-o-lantern-reminiscent faces on the toe box, pumpkin images on the sock-liner and a glow-in-the-dark outsole.
