The Reebok Instapump Fury has been a go-to option for bold fashion enthusiasts for decades. And with newly-surfaced GORE-TEX-backed iterations, that will surely continue being the case for more years to come.
As if Steven Smith’s design wasn’t “in-your-face” as was, its inclusion of the weather-ready material ups the statement-making ante. Mid-foot cut-outs are sealed off to ensure maximum protection against the elements through autumn and winter, with PUMP system buttons appearing on the lateral profile instead of the top of the tongue. A zippered shroud covers the sock-like collar, which extends well above the standard silhouette’s height. “GORE-TEX” branding also appears on the lateral heel and spine, with the latter area donning reworked rubber components. Underfoot, Reebok‘s iconic proposition features rough conditions-informed tread attached to the standard Hexalite-cushioned sole unit.
An official stateside Reebok.com launch date hasn’t been disclosed, but it’s likely this pair will arrive by the time winter gets underway. In any case, enjoy images of the shoes ahead.
