As the world awaits for the Nike SB Tokyo Olympics collection to drop, the imprint hasn’t lost sight of its relationship with independent skate shops from across the globe. Australia’s PASS~PORT is next in line for its own Nike SB Dunk High collaboration.
Clad in a drab colorway reminiscent of hiking boots, the newly-surfaced pair boasts a hairy suede and durable nylon construction. Accented rope laces indulge in the brown and yellow hues that appear throughout the Nike Dunk‘s predominantly-orangish-brown/olive green arrangement. And while compelling, the proposition’s most significant details arrive at and around the top of the tongue, lateral heel and spine: PASS~PORT forgoes a traditional tongue label in favor of an embroidered co-branding situation and pull tab combination; a gardener-like figure utilizes the swoosh as a shovel; and pull tabs present a series of hands seemingly pulling on a rope. Lastly, the black midsole is coupled with a semi-translucent, patterned outsole that further features a drab, likely-Earth-informed makeup.
No release details have been disclosed yet, but this collaborative pair might hit Nike SNKRS before 2021 ends. In any case, enjoy a first-look at the shoes ahead.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 36 has recently appeared in a handful of Player-Exclusive (PE) options ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
