After the Tokyo Games were officially cancelled in light of the global pandemic, athletes and brand were suddenly handed a wealth of time to further prepare for 2021. Nike’s approach was to unveil a brand new color story called “Rawdacious”, celebrating the return to sport with a newfound appreciation of competition and unity. That in itself is essentially the identity of the Olympics Games as hundreds of countries convene to showcase their best talents in tracks and field, gymnastics, skateboarding, basketball, and more.
Of the Rawdacious series, there are actually just a few new models – one being the Nike Zoom G.T. Run. The second installment of the Nike Basketball “Greater Than” series, the G.T. Run is geared toward quicker athletes who rely on up and down speed to cover as much ground as possible. Like the G.T. Cut and G.T. Jump, the Run also features a full-length Zoom Air strobel for maximum coverage.
The Nike Zoom G.T. Run “Rawdacious” is set to drop in July at Nike.com globally.
