The Nike Space Hippie 01 “Vast Grey” Is Available Now

With Nike being the crafter of the world’s first sustainable basketball shoe, the Nike Cosmic Unity, it can be said that the Swoosh’s “Move to Zero” initiative has been fueled by boundless innovation and creativity. The campaign continues with the brand revisiting the Nike Space Hippie 01 to dress the lifestyle silhouette in a “Vast Grey” and “Electric Green” palette.

Similar to the recently-revealed “Carbon Green” Nike Space Hippie 01, a neon “Electric Green” is used to offset a comparably muted base. The Space Waste Yarn upper assumes a “Vast Grey” coloring, allowing for the aforementioned green applied to the lace loops and stitched profile Swooshes to stand out. Black loops on the heel and tongue further create a graphic look. The eco-conscious style is complete with a chunky Crater foam sole, which sees a speckled design that differs with each pair.
