Michael Le Despite Donovan Mitchell declining his invitation to the world stage, adidas is enamored with the idea of the athlete at the Tokyo Olympics. So much so the brand has dressed his latest signature shoe, the D.O.N. Issue #3, in USA colors, essentially asking the question “What if?”
Red, white, and blue can be found throughout the upper. A dark navy inches ahead in usage, however, dyeing both the mesh base as well as the synthetic that supports the toe, eye stay, and collar. Neutral stripes brand just behind, matching part of the sole whose overlaid graphic mixes together all three aforementioned hues in a camo-like format.
