With summer arriving soon, Nike has not been wasting any time crafting pastel mixes to dress up the Air Max 90. Even with the plethora of pastel-clad AM90s to have emerged, the Swoosh’s design team always pulls through with new combos. Next up to join the lineup is a pair that takes a rather subtle approach when it comes to showcasing the soft hues.
Unlike most previously unveiled models, this style opts for an all-white base that voids the leather mudguard, most TPU elements, and the Air cassette of any color. Thus, the baby pink Arctic Punch takes center stage in the design as it tints the side Swooshes, logos on the tongue and heel, and even the fleece-like makeup under the tongue. A soft blue dubbed Light Dew balances the aforementioned pink via its application on the tongue label and TPU element on the mudguard. These two pastels meet again on the signature Waffle outsole, although the blue dominates underfoot. To introduce one last color, the inside and insole exhibit a Green Glow coloring, rounding out the summer-ready look.
