Japanese retailer BEAMS, which houses multiple house labels, is something of a powerhouse of collaboration, often teaming up with big names like Arc’teryx, New Balance, and even adidas. Soon, their relationship with the Three Stripes will deepen yet again as they turn the iconic Superstar more luxurious.
BEAMS is rarely (if ever) the loudest in the room. And that’s quite clear with their take on the aforementioned silhouette. Likely guided by Ray BEAMS, the imprint’s very first women’s collection, the pair starts with a white-on-white colorway. The shade dresses both the under and overlays, which alternate between smooth and croc leathers, respectively. Branding is similarly unassuming, perpetuating the minimal, high fashion look the design is clearly aiming for.
Finished with a full leather lining and thin tongue, the pair is due to hit adidas JP on April 30th at a premium 15,400 Yen price tag.
In other news, a Parley adidas Ultra Boost 6.0 is on the way.
