Every year around this time, Nike begins to experiment with color and tie-dye. And while the Air Jordan 1 took the charge back in 2020, it seems the Air Max 90 will soon take the mantle later this season.
Blue and red are at the helm here. The latter, which is inarguably the boldest of the two, dresses the entirety of the mudguard, spotted sparingly with greyed spirals. Above, the toe quarter panel bears a similar execution though in the alternate shade; its distressing, however, is a dark neutral all the same. To fill in the blanks, the Swoosh took the easy route: the thick, mesh foundation, lace unit, lining, and even the entire midsole are all dyed a deep black.

In other news, a rainbow stitch Air Max 97 is also in the works.
