The Nike Air Superfly Dazzles In “Metallic Gold”

The low-profile movement continues.

The Nike Air Superfly Dazzles In “Metallic Gold”

After checking off its first ever collaboration thanks to Dover Street Market, the Nike Air Superfly is continuing to support Nike’s dive into the low-profile trend through new inline releases. Next up for women’s-exclusive model is a “Metallic Gold” colorway for Fall 2025; easily one of the most eye-catching looks we’ve seen thus far.

Unless you’re fully out of the loop, it’s quite easy to acknowledge the potential Nike sees in the Air Superfly. It’s got that low-profile aesthetic that’s everywhere right now, and an authentic Y2K feel to boot (the model was originally released in the 2000s as a racing shoe). This is one of a few era-appropriate bring-backs from the Swoosh, joined notably by the Total 90 III. The Beaverton brand is also bolstering its low-profile catalog with new models, namely the Astra Ultra.

If interested, look for the Nike Air Superfly “Metallic Gold” to hit nike.com and boutiques soon for $100. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming Nikes.

In other women’s-exclusive sneaker news, the Nike Air Rift is continuing to surface in new colorways.
