Caitlin Clark’s Kobe era has officially begun its retail phase, with that Nike Kobe 5 “Indiana Fever” PE that dropped at the end of June being just the mere tip of the iceberg. During the highly-anticipated showdown between the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings, Clark debuted yet another Player Exclusive colorway issued to her by Kobe Brand.
Blue is an recurring theme with Clarks’ Kobes; we first saw it in the aforementioned Indiana Fever team colorway PE as well as the “Light Armory Blue” from last year. Now, it’s the “Cookie Monster” take on the Kobe 6 Protro, dressed in an all-blue upper, black Swoosh, and cookie-c0lored tan tongue and matching insignia on the heel. It’s unclear if this PE will ever hit retail, although it’s apparent that Nike is indeed open to the idea with several of her issues confirmed to hit stores in the future.
Caitlin once again proved her cruciality to the team, dropping 14 points, 13 assists, and 5 steals en route to victory of Paige Bueckers and the Wings.
In other Nike Basketball news, here’s the latest on the Ja 3 signature, which just revealed the upcoming “Halloween” colorway.
