Is it fair to say that the Saucony Progrid Omni 9 is the brand’s strongest model in its current arsenal? At least from a volume standpoint, evidence would point to yes — Jae Tips, Starcow, and Westside Gunn have taken their talents to the tech runner, while mainline looks have been equally able to impress.

Now shifting away from the metallic aesthetics so prevalent in the Y2K movement, the latest GR look for the Progrid Omni 9 develops more of a throwback sportstyle air, tapping into the primary shading seen on performance models of the era and often leveraged by imprints like Aime Leon Dore. Cut differently, you could reasonably ascribe a “Seahawks” moniker to this colorway, copping Seattle’s primary aquatic shades through the wide mesh base layer and action green tonality centered at the rear. Yet even if you aren’t a 12th man yourself, this pair should be a suitable attendant o footwear trends and a prime candidate to enter the daily rotation.
