Longtime Air Jordan heads have been waiting for this headline for a while. Thirteen years after its original release, the Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” is primed to return in 2026.
The “Toro Bravo” 4s came out in 2013, but let’s dial it back to ’09 for a moment. That was the year Jordan Brand dropped one of its most memorable “Defining Moments” packages in the “Toro Bravo” Jordan 5s; consisting of one all-black 3M colorway and another in attention-grabbing red. The red pair is the one that resonated the most, with Jordan Brand revisiting the theme on the Jordan 4 in 2013 and Jordan 6 in 2023.
While images of the 2026 “Toro Bravo” 4s haven’t surfaced yet, we already have a decent idea of what to expect. Barring any unnecessary changes, we’ll get a red nubuck AJ4 featuring the same color blocking as the 2013 release. Only this time around, the design will fall on the updated Jordan 4 shape a la the “Pine Green” SBs from 2023. The 2013 pair (as shown below) came with Jumpman logos on the heel and outsole, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see OG Nike branding on the upcoming retro.
The Air Jordan 4 “Toro Bravo” is expected to return Summer 2026, putting its release window between next April-June. We’ll keep you posted on any and all developments until then, including first looks, official images, and everything else you need to know.
Elsewhere on our Jordan Release Dates calendar, the Jordan 8 “Aqua” lands July 19th.
