The New Balance 1000 Issues Another Retailer-Exclusive Knockout

Rounding out an upcoming four-pack.

The New Balance 1000 Issues Another Retailer-Exclusive Knockout

We’ve seen it directly with the New Balance 1000 “Black/Teal;” if you get the colorway right, the balance between limited scope and wide available can send retailer exclusives far beyond what mainline pairs can achieve. Following the success of that exact pair, JD Sports and the New Balance 1000 are doubling down, or more accurately, expanding their canon fourfold.

Astute readers will note that we aren’t, in fact, discussing four shoes within this article, yet the “Light Blue/Black” edition that’s just officially surfaced adds to a previously revealed trio for the silhouette. Though classed with those colorways by SKU and release date, you can clearly see that this shoe steps a bit outside the bounds they established, chiefly with its vibrant primary shades but also with deep contrast between a jet black sole and said hues.

The New Balance 1000 featured here is expected to touch down on July 1st, on July 14th in adult sizing, checking in at a $150 price point.
