With an NBA champ crowned, it’s now time to take a short break and get back into the lab to refine and tune the game for the 2025-2026 season. Assisting in this journey of discipline is the Kobe Brand and its latest offering of the Kobe Team Bank series this Fall 2025 season.

With the Kobe 9 EM Protro now in the fold thanks to the special Mambacita release back in May, Nike has chosen the model as one of its focuses as it heads into the latter half of 2025 and into 2026. Unlike the Elite version, the EM features an Engineered Mesh in place of the Flyknit upper, offering the full breathability and support needed in a modern game shoe. It does also lack the carbon fiber plate at the midsole, but the React foam and Zoom cushioning remains.

Each of the members of the Nike Kobe 9 EM Protro TB family seem to have a unique word like “Relentless” and “Resilience” embroidered behind the heel. The official images of the Game Royal pair does not reveal this key details, so we’ll update that shortly.

Unlike the Kobe 8 Protro TB Pack from a year ago, Nike is scattering the releases throughout the late Fall-early Winter season. That said, this blue/white pair is expected to hit Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers beginning on October 1st.
