After only recently launching in brightly-toned vivid colors for summer-time outings, the Air Max Waffle seems ready to make the change to the Fall weather.
Nike’s latest hybrid take on two running classics is back again, revealed in a woodsy blend of olive and brown tones typically found on outdoor gear. It’s got a bit of that iconic “Beef & Broccoli” pairing on the Waffle upper made famous by Timberland and oft-copied, only Nike adds cream-toned midsoles on the Tuned Air chamber and a gum outsole on the spiked bottoms to take it a step further.
The Air Max Waffle was one of many Nike footwear models that increased in MSRP earlier this Summer. Previously tagged with $140, the silhouette is now $145. The $5 increase in retail price is nearly brand-wide, with upper-level models getting bumped by $10.
Official images of this new colorway are just ahead; see below and stay tuned for a release on Nike.com later this Fall season.
