The misidentification is understandable, given how the Whitaker Group retailer has coined the off-brown and faded pink/purple aesthetic, so much so that Nike’s in-line team has chosen to run with the motif on a variety of their classics.

Continuing the onslaught of Air Max 95 OG previews is this new Velvet Brown/Pearl Grey/Baroque Brown/Orewood Brown/Smokey Mauve/Black edition. A long string of color specs indeed, given just how many parts and labor go into building a pair of $190 Air Max 95s. With the big bubble sitting beneath, these will likely be a popular choice once it becomes available. We must note, however, that these are a women’s drop. Fellas, make sure to size accordingly.

This upcoming women’s exclusive general release is slated to launch on Nike.com and Swoosh retailers soon; a target Fall 2025 date hasn’t been set, and the shoes will likely appear without notice.
