Andrew Rizzo The CLOT x adidas partnership delivered world-famous campaign talent off the bat, with Edison Chen and co. enlisting Jennie of BLACKPINK to model their inaugural adidas Gazelle last year. Now after dropping early at select retailers, Chen’s beaded CLOT x adidas Stan Smith is getting some major shine courtesy of model and Squid Game actress Hoyeon.
Seen here on the feet of Kang Sae-byeok (or Player 067), the beaded Stan Smith continues Edison Chen’s fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. All attention is placed on the backtab, taken with attached navy blue beads and tassels that flow around the heel.
As for the campaign, the Stan Smith feels quite at home in a country club setting. The heritage tennis shoe is accompanied by a preppy apparel capsule, including polos and shorts seen on Hoyeon herself in the gallery above. Hoyeon has been a part of the adidas fabric since she gained world fame through Squid Game in 2021, regularly making appearances in campaigns across the brand’s various verticals.
The CLOT x adidas Stan Smith “Beaded” by Edison Chen will be available through CONFIRMED and select retailers on June 21st, 2025. Budget for a $160 MSRP if you’re interested in copping.
