The All-New Nike Ava Rover Emerges In “Wolf Grey”

“Newness” is always a priority within Beaverton, but particularly in the running vertical, we’ve really seen rubber hit the road. Just adjacent to inventions like the Pegasus Premium or Vomero Plus, the Nike Ava Rover is looming as another novel addition, blending together inspirations from multiple performance lines.

Indeed, Ava Rover’s platform, comprised entirely of ReactX foam, provides the clearest throughline to running DNA, additionally pulling a high stack height a la the ultra-cushioned so common from offerings within that category.However, this is a lifestyle shoe through and through, despite the thinned-out composition up top, utilizing graphic layers, pull tabs and dotted textures akin to ISPA or ACG offerings. In terms of the palette on display here, this “Wolf Grey” variation keeps to the split aesthetics we’ve seen from GR colorways already revealed, yet the hits of “Sundial” help to bring some additional energy in the margins.

The Nike Ava Rover is expected to begin making its way into the mainline this July, but it’s currently unknown how this “Wolf Grey” edition fits in that cadence.
