We’ve spilled plenty of ink before on how the decline of the Dunk from a secondary market standpoint doesn’t necessarily mean a death knell in terms of street validity. In fact, its simplistic construction means that those everyday wear bonafides are almost entirely disconnected.

The same thinking goes for kids’ footwear. Though some of the more popular silhouettes you’ll see on grown feet, like the New Balance 9060, Nike Zoom Vomero 5, or ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 now come in sized-down versions to align your little one with lookbooks, it’s hard to beat the versatility of the Dunk, especially in two-tone variations like the “Comet Blue” at hand. If you prefer a bit more complexity with colorways of Peter Moore’s design, you’ll find that added depth with this shoe’s materiality, combining a canvas quarter panel with suede treatments surrounding it.

The Nike Dunk Low “Comet Blue” should be coming to Nike.com in the near future, commanding a $90 retail price in kids’ sizing.
