With Teddy Santis’ Spring/Summer lineup of Made In USA New Balance product nearing its close, it’s only a matter of time before the Boston brand unveils its Fall/Winter collection. But as staunch NB heads know, Made In USA product goes beyond the seasonal assortments that are announced on a semi-annual basis. Emerging via images posted to Reddit of all places, New Balance has a supplemental assortment of fresh 990v6 colorways set to hit shelves over the coming months.
This “Clay Ash” edition is one of three recently-leaked New Balance 990v6 colorways, joined by “Vintage Indigo” and “Community Red” pairs. All three feature the same color blocking, taken with grey mesh on the base/tongue and reflective New Balance logos. Based on early social chatter, the “Clay Ash” might be the most sought-after of the bunch. Minty suede overlays are complemented by more lightly-colored leather underlays, while a dark teal midsole makes a statement underfoot.
