Nike Football Teamed With Shanghai’s ANAR FC To Throw A Total 90 Block Party

Through a new franchise called Nike Cryoshot and models like the Total 90 and Gato, Nike is committed to bringing soccer fashion to the streets – literally. The Beaverton brand recently teamed up with Shanghai’s ANAR FC for a Total 90 block party celebrating the soccer line’s history and future, including cleats from the Nike archive, customization stations, and more.

ANAR FC isn’t a professional football club, but an amateur team comprised of players from across the globe and all walks of life. Nike could just as easily have tapped any of its sponsored clubs to promote the Total 90, but going with a grassroots organization speaks to the model’s re-positioning in the lifestyle space.

Starting with the displays, Nike constructed a wall of recent/upcoming Total 90 colorways like the original “Metallic Silver” among others. The real highlight was a spread of archival Total 90 boots from the 2000s, including the Total 90 III as well as deep cuts from the “Laser” sub-series (seen above). Attendees were also able to customize their own Total 90 kits, partake in jewelry workshops, and face off in a series of soccer challenges.

The Nike Total 90 III SP has already released globally and will continue its run in new colorways for the foreseeable future. Our Sneaker Release Dates hub will be kept current with all known pairs as 2025 presses on.
