Wales Bonner Set To Debut The adidas Karintha This Month

adidas – Wales Bonner is easily among the Three Stripes’ most valuable current partnerships, a couture-meets-streetstyle crossover that helped reignite the Samba and continues to bring energy to new product launches. The Three Stripes are turning the reigns over to Wales Bonner anew with the adidas Karintha, debuting in collaborative fashion with two radically contrasting material makeups.

What’s immediately noticeable in the desert sand pair is the adidas Karintha’s almost baggy upper, particularly impactful where the material bunches and bends towards the collar. It’s particularly visible in the top down angle, flaring out surrounding the tongue for a formless, relaxed profile. Perhaps inverting expectations, it’s actually the sequined black and brown edition that keeps to a more orthodox script, made with a sturdier build in mind that enhances the refined atmosphere of its shining materiality. Either pair closes out with a low-pro sole unit, carrying a diamond pattern traction that warps a la globe lines underfoot, weaving to a more condensed pattern along its midline.

The Wales Bonner adidas Karintha is set to release via European retailers on May 28th, retailing at an equivalent of $260 for the suede pair and $365 for the sequined.
