2025 has been one of the most exciting and unpredictable postseasons in recent NBA history, and sadly, one of the most exciting and unpredictable players the league has to offer is absent from the festivities. Once Adam Silver hands out the Larry O’Brien, it’ll be the official start of the off-season for LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets, meaning a ton of gear-up sessions as he charts a comeback from his latest ankle surgery.
If he chooses to take advantage of outdoor ball season, or if you plan on following in his footsteps, PUMA has you in mind with the MB.04 Lo “Ice White,” an easily digestible, “Triple White” style make-over for the update to his signature shoe. In case you missed the article where Sneaker News broke news of the PUMA MB.04 Lo, you’ll notice some hardware changes on top of the obvious switch in height. To befit this shorter life, the TPU cages essentially blend into the mesh foundation, while the Phoenix badge goes from the tongue to a physical emblem on the heel. All of these new design features get a ghostly white overhaul save for that engineered mesh base layer and the laces, allowing the glossier, brighter sections atop them to stand out all the more.
As with most LaMelo Ball shoes, the PUMA MB.04 Lo “Ice White” is expected to release in both adult and GS sizing ($115 / $110.) Be ready for this pair to arrive this Summer, with a June launch a distinct possibility.
