Gradient Uppers Continue To Shine On The Nike Air Max Sunder “Deep Night”

Nighttime colors step in.

Nike rolled out the red carpet for the Air Max Sunder’s grand revival last Summer, delivering the original “Canyon Gold” colorway as the point-man for a full series of women’s exclusive neon joints. With the rugged runner now back in the fold for street-ready selections, the Sunder has continued its trek by experimenting with a variety of executions from Gore-Tex protected uppers to premium leather typically found on formalwear.

But the Air Max Sunder is simply at its best when the right pops of color are in use, and with gradient coloring taking over the silhouette’s upper since late last year, we’ve been seeing a higher frequency of the two-toned blends on the women’s silhouette. Next up for late Summer/Fall 2025 is this “Sunset” that features a dark Cactus Flower pink fade into a Deep Night blue. Metallic Silver is utilized on the exterior plating on the mudguard, whereas black checks in on the rest.

This women’s Air Max Sunder will be dropping on SNKRS and select Nike Sportswear retailers towards the middle of 2025 for $180.
