The Nike Air Force 1 Brushes Out “Pony Hair”

The staple shoe goes (grows?) wild.

The Nike Air Force 1 Brushes Out “Pony Hair”

We’re hot off the heels of the Air Force 1 “Dirty Triple White,” a tongue-in-cheek release that managed to simultaneously become one of Nike’s biggest viral hits of the hit and its most reviled. Whether you’re a glass half empty or half full sort of person would inform whether you’d recommend a layoff for similar releases or an immediate sequel. It’s ultimately up to your tastes whether you see the Nike Air Force 1 “Pony Hair” to fit the criteria, but we’re seeing some similarities as retailer images hit the ‘net.

It’s primarily in the deeply aged sole and the off-white tonality up top where we see resemblance, but the titular material helps bring a more elevated overall air to this shoe. It easily makes for the most comprehensive embrace of these hairy textures we’ve seen in recent times, only rivaled by the special edition “VUU Panthers” do-up from 2024. Moreover, it’s further indication that Nike has its finger on the pulse of footwear trends in general, following in the footsteps of similar looks for adidas, New Balance, and the rest of the industry.

The Nike Air Force 1 “Pony Hair” will likely step in during Fall 2025, likely carrying a premium on the typical AF1 sticker price of $115. Check out advance images included below — keep a tab on this pair’s arrival via our Sneaker Release Dates hub.
