“Smokey Blue” Settles On The Nike Air Max Craze

“Smokey Blue” Settles On The Nike Air Max Craze

The age of the Nike Air Max Craze officially kicked off on April 29th with a two-pronged introduction, letting loose a “Laser Orange” and “Bright Citrus.” With a white and gold pair still looming, additional chapters are beginning to rise to the surface, including the “Smokey Blue” featured here.

Despite the reigned-in aquatic tones utilized so heavily on this colorway, the Alpha Project product still knows how to make a strong first impression all the same. The slingback construction, still the silhouette’s claim to fame, remains intact, though splayed out in a more conservative overall aesthetic than we’ve seen so far. Largely capitalizing on a three-tone split, you can catch an additional flare of the “Smokey Blue” tonality within the rear Air window, a section that justifies the comparisons to the Air Max Sunder.

The Nike Air Max Craze “Smokey Blue” is queued up for a May 16th release in EU, while a stateside date has yet to emerge. Regardless of what channel you pick this pair up through, be ready for a $170 (or equivalent) MSRP.
