As one of the defining brands in footwear, Jordan Brand is well within their rights to revisit some of their lasting colorways, a formula they’re entirely unafraid of dipping into. With the debut of the Luka .77 and Luka 4 harkening back to the Jordan 1 “Bloodline,” the Chicago-approved palette is now spreading onto another hoops shoe, the Jordan Heir.
Garnishing a black and white foundation with red stripes, pull-tabs, and trim, this is arguably a closer embrace of the “Bloodline” theme than the last time the Jordan Heir took on the concept. You don’t even have to take it from us; Nike themselves describes this as a shoe that “celebrate[s] Jordan heritage by updating an iconic colorway.”On top of modernizing Bulls colors, the performance model still holds onto all the tech that makes an accessible pathway into elevating footwear: herringbone traction, a drop-in midsole, and the wrap-around cage chief among them.
The Jordan Heir “Bloodline” has already started populating global Nike sites with a “coming soon” tag attached, with a May 19th drop likely. Be ready for a $110 retail price whenever this shoe does drop — you can keep tabs on this shoe via our Jordan Release Dates 2025 page.
