Nike Pilots The Shox Ride 2 Into “Bred” Territory

Launching this Summer/Fall season.

Nike Pilots The Shox Ride 2 Into “Bred” Territory

Ever since the Shox Ride 2’s cruise into lifestyle footwear began three years ago, Nike has been moving on all cylinders with the throwback model born out of the daring Alpha Project sub-line of beautifully bizarre designs. Kicked off via a collab with Supreme (pairs that are commanding insane amounts on the secondary market), the Ride 2’s stance remains steady well into 2025.

Incoming this late Summer/early Fall is this fresh new colorway that harkens back to the Shox tech’s earliest days with the Swoosh. Relying on the bold University Red coloring on the Shox columns at the heel and the visible Air Max unit at the forefoot, Nike opts for a strong Black and Medium Ash finish on the upper for the street-sleek vibe akin to Skepta’s Nike Shox TL collaboration of 2019.

Given the sheer amount of tech involved in this design, the Nike Shox Ride 2 comes in at $190, which is considerably more than the mainstay Shox R4 (those are $150). It can’t be overlooked that you are getting a lot more shoe with the former. More details to come.

More from Nike: here’s the latest on the upcoming Dirty Air Force 1.
