Being at the mercy of the Boston Celtics and Jayson Tatum in the fourth quarter often isn’t a pretty sight, something the Orlando Magic learned the hard way after failing to tie up their first round series at home. Though #0 may catch some flack for his laidback personality and workman-like on-court presence, he’s absolutely no stranger to the ankle breaker, something he and Jordan Brand are remind folks with the Jordan Tatum 3 “Blender.”
The direct association comes at the heel, where the pull tabs sport alternating “Put ‘Em In A Blender” text. From that same angle, you can spot a more sentimental narrative, as his son Deuce’s name is embroidered inside of the tongue. Zoom out and you’ll find that this fruity theme is applied more abstractly over the shoe as a whole, sporting rosy strawberry and raspberry tones that weave through the curvilinear panelling that’s always defined the Tatum 3.
We’re unsure whether his association with superfood franchise Everbowl is the direct inspiration for this shoe, but it’s worth noting that this joins a heritage of smoothie-inspired looks, shown in both a Tatum 2 PE bearing this same motto and an acai-inspired edition from 2024.
The Jordan Tatum 3 “Put ‘Em In A Blender” is listed on retail calendars for a May 12th release, landing in full family sizing ($125 for men’s, $90 for GS, and $75 for PS sizing.) Watch our Jordan Release Dates page for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
