We’re staring down New Balance’s yearly Grey Day celebration, and while the brand hasn’t yet unveiled what they’ve got in store, there’s a palpable energy surrounding Boston via new formulations like the New Balance 2010 and New Balance 2000. While they’ve done well to deliver innovation, the casual consumer is likely still most attached to their already-established product, an encouraging sign for a shoe like the New Balance 9060 “Ice Wine.”

The brand holiday is ultimately an apt comparison point for this shoe, heavily relying on the off-white and grey shades that run rampant throughout the NB catalog. It’s especially concentrated on the upper, but the titular pink “Ice Wine” slices through an otherwise snowy arrangement via the branding lowermost underlays. With summer now threatening to make breathable footwear a necessity rather than a trendy choice, the gossamer shades used here should make this pair a sensible choice for the warmer months ahead.
