Sneaker News The Whitaker Group has partnered with the iconic Cascade Roller Skating Rink to debut the adidas Superstar ’82 Skate to the public, bringing with them a special edition made exclusively for local creators, skaters, and cultural contributors of the ATL community.
This roller rink has served as a cornerstone of the community, serving as a meeting place for locals and culture cravers across the nation. It’s a true institution of the city, a back-drop of the south and the hospitality its become so famous for. This Black/Green edition is made specifically with this location in mind, with glow-in-the-dark stripes befitting the fun and playful and pioneering interior of the space.
While this SMU won’t release to the public, The Whitaker Group and adidas will present to release versions of the fun model in Black/White and Silver/Black. Both will be available first come first serve on April 27th at a special launch event ($200 MSRP).
