Serving up exclusive editions for skate shop only releases, Nike SB’s Orange Label series has become a standout feature of the current roster. On top of bolstering skater’s chances at actual SB product with a community-first approach, aesthetic cohesiveness has emerged as one of it’s biggest priorities, ushering in simplistic looks for the SB Dunk Low and other icons under its umbrella.
Only a few days after the official reveal of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Saturn Gold” comes a corresponding colorway for the Nike SB Ishod 2, one of several signature shoes currently holding up the skate sub-label. Notably, it’s the first of that group to enter the “Orange Label” canon, assuredly a signal that the initiative is here to stay and will likely expand its range as time goes on. Wair’s silo nearly replicates the one from Peter Moore’s model one-for-one; “Saturn Gold” douses the upper while gum brown handles the traction underfoot. A staid snowy midsole interrupts the two in between. The one distinguishing factor comes via the Air Max unit below the heel, clad in hi-alert red to mirror the similarly rosy tonality on the insole.
Contrary to most Nike product, the Nike SB Ishod 2 “Saturn Gold” won’t be hitting Nike.com. Instead, local skate shops and their online presence will be your sole source for this pair. We’ll keep this article updated whenever those shops provide insight on when to expect this pair. While you wait, catch official images of this colorway included below, and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page within reach for more info as it comes.
