The New Balance 1500 Gears Up For The 2025 London Marathon

New Balance tends to go all out for the London Marathon, of course issuing a range of performance wear required of them as an official event sponsor, but additionally letting the event creep into off-track product as well. Already a British icon in and of itself, the New Balance 1500 is the Boston brand’s choice for 2025, emerging in a “London Marathon” colorway set to drop soon.

In 2024, the 991v2 dressed in jet black and neon green in accordance with both its race singlet and accompanying running shoes like the Fresh Foam X 1080v13. In the same vein, the 1500 takes its cues from the white/blue/orange scheme utilized for the 2025 race, subtly imbuing the tangerine shade across various branding hits and wearing cerulean on its interior. Of course, it wouldn’t be a valid ode without sporting Flimby construction, so expect the usual premium pigskin suede and leathers utilized on this colorway.

The New Balance 1500 “London Marathon” should hit New Balance UK channels in close proximity to the starting gun on April 27th. Retail will likely carry a premium on the typical £180 price.
