“Michigan” Colors Grace The Nike Air Max 90

The Nike Air Max 95 is currently the belle of the ball for the Swoosh, but that doesn’t mean that it gets to have all the fun. Quite the contrary; in 2025 to date, the Air Max 90 might be the silhouette we’ve seen the most from the product line, letting loose an unrelenting cadre of colorways for both Spring and Summer. The latest may be of note if you trace your roots to the Midwest, as the Nike Air Max 90 “Michigan” looms for the upcoming season.

We’d be remiss not to bring up the Nike Air Max 95 “Michigan” up top, more likely signaling Nike’s belief general belief in the complementary interplay between navy and yellow than reflecting a dedicated effort to cater to the Wolverines. Regardless of whether these two shoes are of a piece with one another, this Air Max 90 edition capitalizes on essentially the same prompt. Navy is the dominant hue throughout the profile, only breaking up with some slight sunny accents on the tongue tag, heel tab and Air Max cushioning underfoot. The near-comprehensive tonal treatment makes the mixed media aspects shine all the more, drawing attention to the mesh toe, suede overlays and leather mudguard.

Expect the Nike Air Max 90 to hit Nike.com sometime in the near future, commanding a $130 retail price once it does.
