Will 2025 be a bigger year for the AJ4 than its 35th-anniversary celebration in 2024? The one-two punch of the “Military Blue” and “Bred Reimagined” makes it tough sledding, but some all-time pairs like the Jordan 4 “White Cement” and Black Cat 4s loom for later in the calendar. Though they may not make “top 5 most anticipated lists,” more run-of-the-mill editions like the “Cave Stone” Jordan 4 and Jordan 4 “Forget Me Not,” just revealed with official images, speak to the inherent draw of the silhouette, attracting a ton of eyes despite OG flair or massive names attached.

Assuredly, some of the appeal for this Mother’s Day pair connects to that narrative, pairing a delicate palette with the always-compelling story about the importance of mothers everywhere. Alluding to traditional gifts for the holiday, a bouquet of cutesy embroidered and tufted flowers tie into the laces. Though there’s some creative license taken, it’s actual scorpion grass / myosotis petals depicted here, lending the “Forget Me Not” official title that these carry.

Though the overall arrangement holds up to our first look, these official Nike shots allow us to faithfully take in the colors n offer. A slight off-white handles the base of the shoe, bracketed against the airy “Aluminum” that takes up iconic Air Jordan 4 features from the mesh at the quarter to the heel tab. Icy light blue adds some closing contrast and flair on the very bottom, anchoring the two extremes of the outsole.
