The Nike Air More Uptempo Low Wears “Celtics” Colors

While MJ laced up the Air Jordan 11 during the Chicago Bulls’ historic 72-10 season, Scottie Pippen helped jumpstart the legacy of the Air More Uptempo. Nearly three decades later, Wilson Smith’s larger-than-life design still resonates deeply with sneakerheads rooted in 1990s hoops. Nike debuted a low-top version in late 2024 and is continuing to pump out new colorways, now teeing up a “Celtics” option for Summer 2025.

Official images reveal green ballistic material on the protruding “AIR” text, with the pull tabs, jewel tongue Swoosh, and lateral mini Swoosh also taking on the accent color. The rest of the design cleans up in white, tying in effortlessly with the Boston Celtics brand kit. Importantly, while the recognizable “AIR” motif is still present, the original height features stacked leather panels as opposed to the ballistic nylon seen here. Underfoot, the midsole stays in line with sculpted ridges and visible Air that blends well with the upper.

The Nike Air More Uptempo Low “Celtics” is slated to release Summer 2025 (between April-June) for $160 in men’s sizing. Enjoy official images below and visit our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs.

Turning focus to the modern Nike Basketball wing, the Nike GT Future continues to surface in new colorways.
