While the New Balance 992 headlines the Boston brand’s “Made In USA” division, the New Balance 991v2 “Made In England” is simply the best thing cooking across the pond. Crafted by the fine folks over in New Balance’s Flimby factory, the model’s strong run is progressing with an “Essentially Offbeat” pack for Summer 2025.
True to its name, the pack marries essential earth tones with a mold-breaking light violet shade. One colorway features premium brown suede, violet mesh, and dark green underlays, with the earth tones producing a slight “Beef and Broccoli” vibe. On the other side of the same coin, its counterpart opts for tan overlays, green mesh, and violet underlays. All other qualities, including the midsole, reflective New Balance logos, and backtabs, are consistent across the duo.
The New Balance 991v2 “Essentially Offbeat” pack releases April 17th, with each pair carrying the standard $250 MSRP. That’s a lofty price tag indeed, but when it comes to “Made In USA/Made In England” quality, you get what you pay for. Enjoy official images below if you’re considering scooping these up.
