The adidas Intimidation Low “Core Black” Stay True To Late 90s Heritage

A burst of late 1990s nostalgia.

The adidas Intimidation Low “Core Black” Stay True To Late 90s Heritage

Yes, we know. Kanye West may have made those curvy bottoms a mainstay in footwear with the Yeezy 500, but adidas is the originator of the outsole design via the KB8 III basketball shoe. Times have changed; Kanye West isn’t Kanye West anymore (literally and figuratively) and that once booming partnership makes scorched earth look like powdered sugar.

That same sole from the forgotten KBIII  eventually made its way to the adidas Intimidation, a fellow late-1990s era basketball silhouette that has quietly returned to the German sportswear brand’s seasonal rotation. While preceding collaborations with Packer and HAL Studios have provided that lifestyle touch, adidas is ready to push the model hard on its sports end given its similarities to the Basketball wing’s modern design direction.

Already dropping earlier this year in cream/black colors, the adidas Intimidation Low is back in a sharp “Core Black” colorway that needs just a touch of “Pure Sulfur” accents around the shoe. These are available now at adidas.com for $130; see the official images ahead and secure yours for the Summer.
