The canon of reimagined Jordans is growing with a Jordan 1 “UNC” for Summer 2025, the Jumpman continuing its storytelling series with a pre-aged version of the original college-inspired colorway. With May 10th coming closer into view, so are images of the sneaker in question. This new gallery posted by @breakout.la gives us one of our most detailed looks to date.
From the same school as the “Lost And Found” aka “Chicago Reimagined” Jordan 1, the sneaker lends a pre-aged appearance consistent with what a 1985 pair might look like today (albeit using the modern “OG” silhouette). Cracked white leather makes up the toe box, quarter, and collar, overlaid by standard “University Blue” overlays. The midsole predictably features “Sail,” while the outsole stands out with a washed, naturally aged finish.
Importantly, the reimagined sneaker is tied to a larger strategy surrounding OG Jordan 1 colorways as contextualized by @mr_unloved1s. The Jordan 1 High OG will continue to be used for “Reimagined” releases, while true OG colorway retros will fall exclusively on the ’85 cut. Such has been the case for a few years running now, with the later category most recently adding “Bred” in February.
As mentioned, the Jordan 1 “UNC Reimagined” is scheduled to release May 10th, 2025, arriving in men’s sizes for $180. See detailed images below and visit our Jordan Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs.
