Nike Air Foamposite Pro “University Blue” Releasing Spring 2026

23 years after its original release.

Nike Air Foamposite Pro “University Blue” Releasing Spring 2026

The scope of 2026 Jordan releases is already coming into focus, but that’s not all we’re already looking forward to. According to industry sources, the Nike Foamposite Pro “University Blue” will get its first ever retro next year.

Originally released in 2003, the “University Blue” Foamposite Pro wasn’t necessarily sought-after, sitting at retailers before being subject to markdowns. The model hit shelves in bevy of colorways just a year prior, most of which featured the more well-known glossy finish. However, as we see time and again in our world, the “University Blue” colorway has benefited greatly from the passage of time. While likely unwearable by now, aftermarket sales for the original release peaked at around $1,500 in 2020.

As made clear by its name, the “University Blue” Foamposite Pro takes a page from the Air Jordan canon of “UNC” colorways. The titular hue appears on matte sidewalls, contrasted by white hits on the Swoosh, leather eyelet panels, and mesh areas. Familiar “Obsidian” makeup, first seen on the Jordan 12 and reprised on the Jordan 1, is anchored by a dark blue carbon fiber plate.

No concrete release date for the “University Blue” Foamposite Pro has been announced, but @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles report a Spring 2026 window (between January-March). Enjoy detailed images of the 2003 release below while we keep our ears up for more info.
