Nike AIR Imagination” A.I. Platform Is Like A ChatGPT For Sneaker Design

Think you have the chops to design the next big Air Max shoe? Head on over to Nike’s newly launch AIR Imagination platform HERE, an arena dedicated to giving the community a free space to unleash their creative juices and visualize the future of Air Max.

AIR Imagination relies on a text-to-image style AI creation tool. You can submit your own prompt to get started with your unique design, commanding the AI engine to select specific styles of Air Max shoes or specific cushioning units. Below is a screenshot that gives some examples of prompts.

After you submit your prompt, the AI chat bot will walk you through the details including materials and color. For example, our prompt was “A high top basketball shoe with Tuned Air at the heel, Air Max at the forefoot.” The chat walked us through the specific types of materials and colorway palettes to come to a final result. There are some random mixes as well as iconic ones, such as the grey/black/volt from the Air Max 95 “Neon”.
