The Michigan Wolverines Rake Up An Air Jordan 4 PE

The Michigan Wolverines are always a factor come March, holding a near-perfect attendance record in the Sweet Sixteen every time they’ve made the dance in recent memory. 2025’s tourney is no different, and though felling #1 seed Auburn will be a tall task, the quest to add the school’s second-ever championship goes through Alabama. If you subscribe to the “look good, play good” school of thought, they’ve got plenty going for them already, as a just-unveiled Air Jordan 4 “Michigan” PE joins an expansive group of PE styles.

The first impression of this AJ4 is how it breaks from the two-tone scheme that many of the previous “First Class” editions have capitalized on. Instead, the Wolverines opt for a tri-tone delivery, utilizing dusty dark blue on the mudguard and down the tongue, trademark cerulean on the shoe’s suede body, and some deep navy hits on the wings/eye-stays, heel tab and midsole. In the process, the textured ostrich leather that’s defined this crop of AJ4s continues to highlight this shoe’s premium construction. The “Michigan” Air Jordan 4 further keeps to the series’ script with extremely subtle branding. Outside of the gilded hangtag with the iconic M logo and a similarly branded lace dubrae, the school’s “Go Blue” motto on the inside tongue is the only distinguishing factor that marks this as a school-specific PE.

As with the run of “First Class” PEs we’ve covered recently, the Air Jordan 4 “Michigan” will remain exclusive to current attendees of the school.
