The Nike Vomero 5 Roam Is Ready For Summer Hiking In “Wolf Grey/Sanddrift”

The "weatherized" model steps into the warmer months.

The Nike Vomero 5 Roam Is Ready For Summer Hiking In “Wolf Grey/Sanddrift”

Retro running hits the trail on the Nike Vomero 5 Roam; an outdoorsy spinoff model featuring a clear Nike ACG aesthetic. The rugged version of the Samuel Ross-designed model debuted last winter, but unlike other “weatherized” models in the Nike canon, it appears the Vomero 5 Roam is sticking around as a year-round offering.

For Summer 2025, the Beaverton brand is pressing forth with a “Wolf Grey/Sanddrift” Vomero 5 Roam colorway. Once again, the color blocking is split between the shoe’s top and lower halves. Enclosed mesh and pull laces lead the charge up top, while the sole is anchored by the same Hagr Rubber material used in the ACG Mountain Fly line. The Vomero 5 Roam might not be the lightest trail shoe out there, but many consumers have reported top-tier comfort and traction.

No release date for the Vomero 5 Roam “Wolf Grey/Sanddrift” has been set, but we’re expecting a Summer 2025 release for $180 in men’s sizes. See official images below of you’re considering trying out a pair.
