Air Max month has absolutely lived up to its billing on our side of things. Though the Air Max DN8 hasn’t recieved Nike’s red carpet treatment the way the Air Max Dn did a year ago, our publication has been filled to the brim with new product from the sub-brand, including official looks at big bubble Air Max 95s, the start of the Air Max Craze retro and a healthy crop of new Air Max Muse looks. A budding entrant to that well-stocked category is the Nike Air Max 90, unleashing a fresh crop of seasonal editions.
“Copper Moon” is in focus for the silhouette’s latest, the chosen accent shade for the eye-stays, heel cup and Swoosh in a novel spin on the grey-dominant “Infrared” style blocking. To that end, three different steely shades take over this shoe, painting a dark grey mudguard, neutral leather quarter panel and subtle off-white mesh foundation. Pair that with a “Phantom” midsole and it’s almost as if Beaverton creatives reversed and tinted the iconic “Total Orange,” remaining some easily-reached-for sportswear while inching closer to vintage trends.
The Nike Air Max 90 “Copper Moon” is available now, retailing for $130 in men’s sizing. Our “Where To Buy” widget contains direct pick-up links — follow those to check out your size.
